PE 9 The Essentials of Physical ActivityEssentials of Physical Education 9 is a mandatory class for Freshman and is used to give each student a brief snapshot of numerous sports and activities. Students enrolled in PE 9 will complete nine two week units. Units are basketball, softball, swimming, volleyball, badminton, touch football, tennis, fitness & ultimate frisbee

ElectivesAn Elective course is any Physical Education class, other than Essentials of Physical Education 9, including but not limited to Team Sports, Individual & Dual Sports, Lifetime Fitness & Strength & Fitness. Each Elective class counts as .5 credits towards graduation & can be used to fulfill the students Physical Education requirement or general elective credits.

Health EducationHealth Education is a mandatory class that all Sophomores are enrolled in. Health Education touches on such subjects as personal hygiene, mental & emotional health, nutrition, human growth & development, family planning & social health. Students are also required to complete a wellness wheel as part of the class.
